Traded for a Ricordea

A friend of mine had some Ricordea Mushroom Corals which recently split.  Being a nice guy he offered me one of his new ones.  Unfortunately at the time I was trying to propogate my Xenia and had nothing to offer in return.  A few weeks went by and my Xenia went crazy, splitting from 1 stalk to about 10.  After getting some new stalks to attach on a loose piece of rock I was finally ready to make the trade.

Naturally, because I took so long the Ricordea he had to trade attached itself to the rockwork.  Apparently he had to wrestle it off the rock so I could have it.

This worked out quite well for both of us.  Each of our investments allowed us to swap for something we didn’t yet have.  And it’s not like we were out any money since technically these were “free” since they grew all by themselves from the ones we already had!
